It's fair to say that I am often less drawn to the basic merits of certain items I write about, and more to the overall ambience and aesthetics of the way they are represented. Most of my research is based around items I will never own, so I'm not afraid to admit that I like to look at pretty pictures as much as pretty clothes. L'Ecole des Femmes is safely confined to this category. Even if I could easily buy their clothes, I really don't think I would, because they're quite average and definitely not my style, but the model is cute, I like her mouse ears, and the photo-effects are sugary and pastel enough to belong on this page.
