Yasmin Sewell

She was also married for one year (according to IMDB) to Rufus Sewell, who has played the evil guy in almost ever period drama... dun dun dunnnn.

What started at a bit of innocent career stalking (Yasmin founded the mega cool boutique Yasmin Cho, went on to buying director at Brown's and is now creative director at Liberty), has turned into a full blown obsession. With assorted images from style.com, The Sartorialist, Garance Dore, Jak + Jill and Vogue, among others, I'm not the only one.

dreamy

I use this adjective a lot, but seriously... these are my dream shoes.

Some wintry inspiration...

Sviatchenko

Sergei Sviatchenko is a very cool Ukrainian born, Danish based artist and architect. He curates Senko Studio, which he founded in 2002 to present upcoming artists and photographers. He is a contributor to Dazed & Confused, Wonderland, Arena and Rojo, among others, and has won lots of awards. Who doesn't love a good photomontage?

Independent

It's 4.30pm, it's dark and all I want to do is lounge around in my cosy house with the curtains closed and a crackling fire. Either that, or hibernate until the sun comes back. This Wendy Bevan shoot from 2008 sums up the vibe I'll be aiming for this winter.

Jan Taminiau

This 2007 Jan Taminiau shoot combines two of my favourite things; extreme volume and dip dye tights.

Keller NY

I always look to Keller for an effortless display of quirk and individuality. My first post on them (in July 08) still stands up as an example of original design. I wouldn't necessarily wear many of the clothes above - although the last dress is kind of awesome in a schoolgirl, pinafore sort of way - but I do love the creative direction on the shoot, which is by far one of the most interesting lookbooks I've ever seen.
