Leemans en Wicker

I'm a bit hesitant to admit this but between this and the Topshop Unique S/S '09 collection I think I'll be wearing more than a splash colour this spring...

Hope everyone has a very interesting London Fashion Week. I know I will be referencing the top photo frequently, but obviously having a ball.

Paolo Roversi, part 2

The blog has slowed down terribly this month, totally coinciding with my crazy new job as an intern in the Luella Press Office (with the show on 23rd February and a lot for me to learn, things are understandably manic). I also moved to London 3 weeks ago, so the combination of getting home at 8pm, catatonically exhausted, stealing temperamental internet from the neighbours and having friends visiting/going travelling at weekends has taken its toll.

I need to think of a way to get around this, because I have so many things stored in my inspirations folder that I want to share... For now I'll leave you with some of my favourite images from Paolo Roversi, who I've written about before but is worth featuring again.

So, new readers and regulars, forgive me if new posts are slow in arriving, but I have definitely not abandoned you for good...

Men's Fashion Week Fall '09: Comme des Garcons

Gang Gang Dance - First Communion

(via men.style.com)

I want to write about how exciting this collection is as much as I want to pretend the H&M collaboration didn't happen... A Lot. It adheres perfectly to one of the clothing principles I (and my housemate Amee) stick to most fastidiously; taking hideous, ill-fitting garments and making them look amazing. For this reason alone it is number one on my list of two best men's fashion week shows. (I definitely hate the hats and shoes, though.)

I LOVE this!!! This is my best friend Robin if he went to live in a secluded forest in an American backwater for 5 years, surviving by chopping wood for the local villagers.
